Heading out there in the morning with a friend of mine. Topwater fish still going good? Can I catch fish on the lower end of the lake? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Top water bite is hit and miss... By lower end of the lake if your meaning the Dam.. then yes

Went out this morning with a buddy and did well until about 8 am. Caught 25 on top up to 7 lbs on !@#$$ and @#$%. We fished the rip rap at @#$%and the cove to the east side. Then it shut down and was tough...not to mention the wind was blowing harder than forcasted. Caught one fish on the east bank south of !@#$% after that and that was it. Was a rough ride back to the dam.
