The last two sets I put on my pickup I bought the Uniroyal Liberators from Walmart and got 50k out of the first set. Very reasonably priced as I could buy 2 sets for what one set of the BFG Long Trail or Michelins. I also bought a set for my wife's then daughter's cars from Sams again reasonably priced. My suggestion is shop around before going to Discount do homework sometimes you can get a better deal. The last set of the Lib's from Walmart the guy knocked $20 each of since I was buying the second set. Convinced me to run them again.

Discount Tire. Free lifetime balance and rotation and lots of convenient locations.

Discount tire.
Their warranty and road hazard are the main selling points for me.

Just shop around until you find what you want, I have Michelin LTX tires on both my Tundras and would not buy anything else. They have an excellent treadlife and their sidewalls are stronger. Although they are more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Talk to the tire stores and they usually will give you a discount, there are always a coupon either online or through Michelin for an added discount as well. Hope this helps.

+1
Michelin's are the best by far IMO.

They also patch flats for free. They fixed a flat on a tire I didn't even buy from them for free.

Check you local dealership, Dodge, Ford, Chevy, etc. You'd be surprised that alot of times they have the lowest prices.

Sam's, they had the best price when i was looking for tires and they have a good "add on" package for the tires. Free balance, rotation and flat fix for tires if you get the added warranty.

My local ford dealership will match any price so I went to Costco, Wallmart and Discount tire. I took them the lowest price for Michelen LTX and they matched it with all the warranty's, free tire rotation etc... So it is much easier to take it 15 minutes from my house to the ford dealership. Also they are usually faster and not have to wait so long since they have that express lane.

My experience with Sams is that they usually only carry the high end tires but total pkg. price is usually good. If they have what you want they might be hard to beat.

Yep, but when i bought mine the guy at the desk told me that they could order any tire for me, they just didnt have the room for all tire brands and types.

When i bought mine i called many places including NTB, Discount tire, a few goodyear dealers, and a few local tire dealers. Sam's had everyone beat and i was already a Sam's Club member, so it was the best choice for me.

Discount tire for me. Its nice to see a place acutally use a torque wrench on my lugnuts instead of running the lugs down until the impact stops like walmart. You leave walmart, you may have loose lugs or broken wheel studs. I don't know if all discount tires use the torque wrench or not, but the one in sherman does.

I took my wifes new car there a while back for a tire rotation and went to pay, they said no charge. I told them I did not get those tires at discount tire and they said it didn't matter, still free. That impressed me.

What was that?
