What's your best bait to throw at boat slips in marinas?

I'm looking to start fishing them more, but the deep water intimidates me. suggestions??

When it gets hot in the summer I like to toss a weightless senko-type bait if they are the floating type docks.

A wacky rigged senko is a good idea. If the docks have ropes or cables going across the front, try a large texas rigged worm by pitching it on the backside, letting if fall to the bottom them slowly lifting your rod tip until the worm hits the rope or cable. Let the worm crawl over to the front side and then let it fall down again. You will get most of you bites once the worm fall on the front side of the cable or rope. I like a Zoom Mag II worms for this but I think any large worm will work well. Good Luck!

One of the best techniques i use, is throwing a jig. pitch it right up against or underneath it, and let it fall. If they dont get it on the way down theyre not interested. Throw it again.
Or any type of weightless rig. wacky, senko

I like to throw a wacky rigged senko on a spinning rig. Whatever you throw make sure it will skip, and get as far under the dock as you can. It's a good bet you are not the first one to fish the dock that day.

weightless fluke or if the waters clear enough a swim bait is great

I use a wacky rigged senko and a 3/16 or 5/16 booyah jig depending on how they want the fall.

I like a Tiki Bamboo for the added weight and castablility. I feel like it gets down a little quicker and gets a bigger bite. Either Wacky style or Texas weightless.
