I am on my second pair of Oakley's and i love them. I go through about a pair every two years and wear them every day. I am going to check out the Wiley X brand though when i need a new pair.

I have had cheapos, 3 pairs of Oakleys, a pair of Maui Jims, and some Costa 580's.
I like the Costas the best, with the Maui Jims a close second. There is a huge drop off after that to the Oakleys. I have had 2 pair break on me for no reason, and the third pair the lenses started peeling. I will not buy Oakley's again.
I agree that eyes are not something that you scrimp on. I work outside so I always have sunglasses on. Save money and get the Costas or a good set of Maui Jims.

If u want a cheaper pair look at the new strike kings that are about $25 not sure the model...probably the best shades I've had under $100. Wiley X would be my next choice up in price.
I've owned costas and oakleys and just never could justify the price. They look good and people ask about them but I didn't see any other major advantages for such a high price.

i currently have a pair of maui jim banyans, smith's mavericks and oakley's flack's. the shallow blue lens on the oakleys blow the other 2 out of the water no comparison as far as when it comes to sight fishing. the shallow blue lens are very hard to find though and you would be better off trying on the frames at a store and ordering them online. i had to go to 8 different stores including 3 oakley stores to find my pair.

I bought some of the Solar Bats in the Moss Green tint from Bass Pro about 3 years ago and they are still in great shape after wearing the crud out of them. while wearing them you get great visibility in the water and everything you look at is crystal clear. The price is also not bad at all either. They range from $90 to $110. not bad especially if you get the money's worth out of em like i did!

I treat my eyes like I do my feet/back. I am buying a quality of pair of sunglasses/shoes cause they matter to me. I love me some Costas and Oakleys both.

WileyX best around, won't leave home withought them, and if you do the revo deal you get a SWEET reel, the SWEETest glasses around for an awesome price... the wileys are also SUPER tough, I am HARD on glasses and havn't scratched mine yet... and they are also saftey glasses, go to you tube and look up the vid of them shooting a pair with a 12 gauge
