2 words describe it, It's Hard. Spent about 2 hour removing windows, rails, cleats, trolling motor, ect. Felt like forever getting stickers off, of one side, then I figure about an 3 hrs sanding, just did one side to start. Spent about an hour buffing. Once you get comfortable with your buffer it gets alittle easier. You have to watch out for sharp corners they'll shred a pad. This is only one coat of wax, I'll do another with a final glaze wax. So far I'm pleased, I figure about 5 more hrs and hopefully it'll be done!!
Heres the port side, this is the way the whole boat looked.

During Sanding

After Buffing

Nothing like fixing an ole boat up. Looks good so far. Wished they still made the kingfishers.

ChunkNWinding you have a good eye, I've only seen one like this, and it was a Fish and ski, did they not make very many.

They were made in clarksville, texas. My childhood days were spent in a kingfisher with a 70hp chrysler on the back. Those were some fun memories. It didn't have a drain plug and when we would get swamped by waves, my dad would tell me to pull the plug and we would get on plane to get the water out.

Looks good. If anyone wants to practice on a boat before starting their own project, let me know......

Well I'm calling it good, now just gota do the carpet. Went back over with some Meguiars then a 3M marine wax. I think if I'd done this about 5 years ago I'd be alittle happier with this boat. Oh and this has just alittle bigger than an 70hp, but I'd be happy with whatever.
What do yall think?
