How big is that big moma on the south end of CHoke? I saw her with a small 9 footer. IS that pics of her. I'd say the one I saw was an EASY 16 foot. HUGE. Anyone else seen her/him?

Now this might be a stupid question, but how in the world did these gators end up in Texas lakes? I've heard of them in CC which I wouldn't expect. I've also heard of them in Toledo Bend and Caddo, which I would kind of expect. Are they "pets" that were let go or something? I dunno I just associate gators with swamps, and/or florida.

I've seen one on the south end that looked to be about 12" between the eyes...I estimated it at 12-15 ft. I'll be there for 5 days starting Thursday and can't wait!

I've heard that every lake in Texas has a gator in it just about.
