I got in a hurry to get on the water Sat. evening. Gassed up, Iced up quick. Well, when I launched and beached a fellow angler pointed out the gas nozzle and three feet of hose sticking out of my boat...  I sheepisshly returned the nozzle and hose to the station. I guess I will slow down a little (and pay a little more attention).....  Keith www.lakebridgeportguideservice.com

DOH!!!! Sounds like a true Homer Simpson moment. We all do stupid things. Most of us just forget to put the plug in, though. They must have been pretty mad at the gas station.  :p Bob

 Keith I would not feel to bad about it. We used to buy gas and they checked your oil,tires, and washed your window. Now they charge $2.30 a Gallon for credit card pay at the pump. I think they can afford it.I am just glad you didnt tear up your boat.

They didn't say much, just "set it by the pump". It had a quick connect that pulled apart. No harm to the boat.

Very funny. There is no threat of fire. There is a quick disconnect for this very reason.

You are not alone Keith, I did the same thing in my truck although not for as noble a reason. When going fishing doesn't turn you back into an excited little kid you need to rethink things. I get it everytime I pull the boat out of the garage.
