I got in a hurry to get on the water Sat. evening. Gassed up, Iced up quick. Well, when I launched and beached a fellow angler pointed out the gas nozzle and three feet of hose sticking out of my boat... hammer I sheepisshly returned the nozzle and hose to the station.

I guess I will slow down a little (and pay a little more attention)..... laugh

DOH!!!! Sounds like a true Homer Simpson moment. laugh laugh We all do stupid things. Most of us just forget to put the plug in, though. They must have been pretty mad at the gas station. wink :p

LOL!

Thanks for sharing, Keith. That one made my Monday morning.

I hope pulling the gas hose loose did not hurt your boat any. smile

I would not feel to bad about it.
We used to buy gas and they checked your oil, tires, and washed your window. Now they charge $2.30 a Gallon for credit card pay at the pump.
I think they can afford it.I am just glad you didnt tear up your boat.

They didn't say much, just "set it by the pump". It had a quick connect that pulled apart. No harm to the boat.

My wife did that one time. Most people won't share that. Thanks!

That's hilarious Keith. That Hybrid fever makes you forget basic things (like not putting the plug in a few months back)!!

Very funny. There is no threat of fire. There is a quick disconnect for this very reason. thumb

You are not alone Keith, I did the same thing in my truck although not for as noble a reason. When going fishing doesn't turn you back into an excited little kid you need to rethink things. I get it everytime I pull the boat out of the garage.
