But you need to approach him and ask him to please respect your fishing. He may not understand that his actions are causing you grief. But after you approach him he will know it bothers you. This way it won't be any question if he is disrespecting you on purpose.

Good advice to follow

It depends on the situation. If he was just out out having fun around his boat house and you just happened to be fishing that is one thing but if intentionally did it just to screw up your fishing all bets are off. HOOK HIM!..............or call the warden. Nah never mind HOOK HIM!

In north texas pleasure boater and jet fleas have the right of way at all times right?
Thats the way they act anyways.

He can actually get into alot of trouble if this was brought to the attention or authorities. Boating to close to a fixed object (boathouse) boating to close to people, unsafe boating is a big time offense and fine if im not mistaken. Many lakes have a law that you are not supposed to boat within 25 yards of the bank with the power motor. Seems as if he could be breaking a whole bunch of rules. Report him.
Its just one less idiot we have to worry about.

Unfortunately I have never once witnessed the harassment of anglers law enforced. It seems like there is very little attention paid to the antics of jet skis and pleasure boats other than then in holiday weekends.

A 2-3 ounce weight will work well.

I have asked a GW about this in the past, and he stated if they are close enough to hit them with my biggest lure, then they are too close.
