I am going to be spending a wk or so on Lk Whitney {lofers bend area} looking good striper area's around the park. i have heard the area's around the dam and state park...but never had any decent luck. any info/hints would be a great help

Trow top waters, C10 Redfins and crank em slow and make em wobble on the surphace, key on areas near major creeks. fish the shoreline and make long casts. Or hire me. laugh laugh laugh Little Rocky Lodge and Guide service.

just heard on the news that whitney has no water down there for the city....a busted pipe or something....not the lake, but water to the city

Steve I saw that too. Whats the deal today with main breaks, one in Dallas dumping raw sewage, one in Benbrook dumping raw sewage, water main in Whitney.

heading to whitney in the morning hope to bring home some stripers or sandies any suggestions on where and what to fish would be appreciated. dont get to do this often dont want to bring home an empty cooler. it looks bad to the kids ya know!!

for what it is worth...this is the report from parks and wildlife-Water stained; 58 degrees; 5' low; Black bass to 4 pounds are fair on ¼oz. white Road Runners over beds. Striped bass to 18 pounds are fair on 4 – 6 inch gizzard shad. White bass are excellent on ¼oz. white/marabou Road Runners up the Brazos River where the Nolan River runs in. Crappie are good on minnows in creeks and coves. Catfish to 4 pounds are fair on cheesebait in creeks in 6 - 10 feet.

yyz is the 3rd song on the "moving pictures" album. there are no lyrics..just music. in concert, this is where they would but neal peart's drum solo's. yyz is the airport code used for the airport in toranto, canada, and when they saw that on their luggage, they knew they were on the way home...so the named that song-yyz.
i know, it doesnt really make sense....but there you go.
