The water temp was 73-85 the fish I found were in 2-5ft. all on crickets. I'll post pics as soon as my boy gets home, he has my camera.

Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time.

Water level is about normal both ramps are usable. As for the red, I cannot tell a lie. I caught it on a LIVE shrimp...

well its like this. The red in the pic was caught on a live shrimp wile fishing on the north jetty in Port Aransas. It was 48" and one heck of a fight. The red drum is a saltwater fish that TPWD stocks in power plant lakes. So needless to say we wont be using live shrimp at FF, But their are some big reds in that lake.

Never seen a fish like that in my life before, except on tv. If I get one of those on the fly..

Never seen a fish like that in my life before, except on tv. If I get one of those on the fly.. Then you wont have a rod anymore. Also, for live shrimp, you hook them in their head just behind the eye, make sure not to hit the little black thing inside of it with the hook, though.

Then you wont have a rod anymore. Thats not true, I've caught them on a 5# rod wile bream fishing before. Biggest was around 10lb. you just have to chase them down and keep steady pressure on them.It is a challenge but it can be done.
