Who has been going to the jack pots this year? I here that another guy started on at cedar Ridge but only 4-5 teames show up. But the one Barns puts on out of rogers park i here have been good 9-15 teams. I here the fish are doing good and you can now catch them starting to group up. I guess im going to the barns tourny tonight and get out of the wind. I wish the other guys at cedar ridge would give up so the teams will not be split. Belton is smoking still house lake down for sure

here's a thought. I have not fished the tourny yet this year but from what i have herd about the two tournys on the same day and time make me a touch mad. Barns has been doing the tourny for 3 years in same spot. then this year someone wants to start another an another ramp the same day. WTH! how bout a monday? or a sunday afternoon from 5-8:30. " you build it they will come". I don't know Barns but it seems like everyone likes him and i think he does a great tourny.

We are also doing a championship this year as well, similar to Chuck and them at Stillhouse. It is a no pay championship if you fish 10 or more thursday's throughout the year.

Thursday Night, Rogers Park 6:15 pm to 9:30. $40 entry per team.

3 fish 14 inch limit.

Took 13 lbs to win last week, 10 lbs was second. Almost everyone that fished had fun and brought in some good fish.

Those came from next door. The way the fish are biting on Belton right now, everyone has a shot at winning. They are literally biting all over the place and on just about anything.

yha if the wind would just slow down about 15 mph would be good. The wind makes me not want to function properly. i know the wind sure saved alot of the giants from getting a hook in them over the last 10 days.

Definately hampered the fishing over the last few days. It's supposed to lay down to 5-8 out of the north right before the tournament starts this evening, so it will be nice not fishing in 30+ wind for once.

Had 13 teams last night.

It took just under 11 lbs to win and just under 10 lbs got second.

Big fish was a 6 1/2 lber. There was also a nice smallie wieghed in at just under 5 lbs.

Water temp was around 64 degrees, and water is slightly more stained than last week. Lake is around 2 1/2 ft low.

Couple more weeks and I will be able to join you all out on the water. Looking forward to meeting you guys
