Hopefully not too bad. There was some good fish caught last week. In the back of big creeks. Check out Cedar Creek, Caddo and the back of Bluff Creek. Let us know how you do.

was there last weekend. the water is gold color, lots of dead fish but not as bad when the algae first pounded the lake. i ran in bluff creek water was gold color there as well. just hated it, didn't even try to fish, just felt lousy about the whole deal. last year seemed so good was really expecting good things from PK. pintail please let us know how you do!

check out the kayak section for a full report on the brazos basin. Went up there two weeks ago. everything was dead. no wildlife of anykind at all. weirdest thing I ever seen there. Camped for two days and it was depressing.

Cell counts and toxicty were very high in the water samples taken this week. That does not mean the fish are all dead it just means that PK is very fish toxic right now. There are places the fish can go to get in fresh water.

was up there last sat - fish were dead or dieing in all creeks i went in. Never saw a bass dead but a ton of catfish carp striper shad big and small. spent all day running from costello island area down to the dam. to make it short i would fish up neelies stay right and go to the end - there were active fish in the back of the creek. they didnt act sick there ??? i saw em die-in everywhere else i went. it was enough to make ya puke.
