What is the deal with everyone? Why does it ride on so many sleeves about your side my side? We are Texans right?

Well technically yes, but dallas is bottom of the bucket of Texans, only people of Houston are below them

Why? I am a West Texan, born in Odessa, and grew up around Abilene. Abilene is still home but live close to the metroplex now! Sounds like you may have a chip on your sholder! Maybe we could launch the boat and talk about it?

West Texas is a great area. Dallas just sucks. Stay there for a little bit and you will come to understand what I am talking about.

Id try PK........fish kill I know, there is still a large population of healthy fish and youd have the lake to yourself.

If you don't mind a little lake with hit / miss days, I like to hit up Proctor Lake and Lake Leon. I've had good times at both lakes but never anything over 3lb.
