ETBA’s 25th annual open team tournament is set for April 10, 2010 headquartered out of Lake Tyler Marina on beautiful Lake Tyler. Tournament times: 6 am to 3:00 pm entry fee is: $100 per Team - Includes Big Bass, limited to first 200 Teams. The weigh in will be stationed at the south parking lot adjacent to the swimming area. Early Registration is Friday, April 9, 2010 4 pm to 8 pm Wal-Mart Super Center, 6801 S. Broadway • Tyler, TX. 903-581-4296. Late Registration Saturday, April 10, 2010 4 am to 6 am Lake Tyler Marina. Bump for a solid ran tourney...I say that because I won it last year...LOL
Seriously, my father in law and I have fished this for several years...It is ran very well, and is held on a great lake...
We will be there again ready to go...

Hey Bus Driver,
Can you clarify your off limits rules? It says 6:00am Friday , April 10th... April 10th is Saturday.
So is there a practice day on Friday? Not that I matters to me I didn't think about the off limits and was out on Lake Tyler last night. ARGHHHH...

Hey Bus Driver,
Can you clarify your off limits rules? It says 6:00am Friday , April 10th... April 10th is Saturday.
So is there a practice day on Friday? Not that I matters to me I didn't think about the off limits and was out on Lake Tyler last night. ARGHHHH...
Jody Should read "Off Limits: Tournament Lake will be off limits from 6 pm, Sunday April 4, 2010 until 6 am, Friday, April 09 2010".

I talked to Ronnie Glover the President of the East texas Bass Association this morning (903) 752-9872 and he said the last practice day was SUNDAY April 4th until 6pm. You cannot pre-fish/practice on Lake Tyler at all this week and still fish in this tournament. The Lake is OFF-Limits until Saturday morining, April 10,2010 6:00 AM.. This tournament is open to anyone over 16 years of age except members of the East texas Bass Association.

Jody According to Ronnie Glover you Cannot pre-fish FRIDAY the last day to pre-fish was Last Sunday April 4, 2100 until 6 pm.

Jody Should read "Off Limits: Tournament Lake will be off limits from 6 pm, Sunday April 4, 2010 until 6 am, Friday, April 09 2010". My bad, first time they went to no pre-fishing the day before the tournament in the Open. There is no pre-fishing on Friday this year.

Man, I understand and will follow the rules, but that sure makes it tough on those of us traveling...I have not been on the lake this year and live over 3 hours away...I was planning on getting on the lake Friday and have even taken the day off work...Guess I should have read the rules first...LOL
Not complaining, rules are rules...But to clarify, off limits mean you can not put your boat on the water, or no fishing...I would love to at least be able to get down there and drive my boat around a little and see water temps, clarity, level, etc...
In the past you guys have allowed pre-fishing on Fridays...
No biggie eitherway...

I think off-limits means not on the water at all.
