Launched from Pirate's Cove. Cloudy and blowing from the southeast to south all day steady at 20 with gusts. On the water at about 11:30. Started in Hoecker's Cove. 5 Rat reds on live shrimp next to the burm on the first washout. Moved up towards the bay and tried two more spots with no luck. After that we went to Carancahua Reef...the water was rougher and dirtier due to the wind....stayed there about 45 minutes...us and one other boat..no luck. Headed to Green's..murky and no bites...same with Meacom's. Decided to tuck back into the island to find clearer water. Tried Starvation with no luck....weather closing in ...mist and rain getting heavier so we headed back to Heoecker's and the same spot....rain,mist,sun for about 10 minutes then back to mist and rain....caught about 15 more rat reds with one keeper and a few trout (one keeper) mixed in. Had a great time, caught a few fish, but not many keepers.

By the way, the guy at Sea Isle bait will give you your money's worth.
