I got skunked today. No sandies and I didn't see any sign of them. Most of the people I talked to didn't get any either. One group of 3 caught 10 keepers.

I did get a few nibbles from some small long ear sun fish. If there wasn't so much wind, I might have caught a couple of them and used them as bait in the lake. Saw a bunch of gar and a TON of carp. Wish I had my bow fishing equipment with me, I could have had a lot of fun slaying trash fish.

I love the Brazos, gotta be fun just being out there even if you are not catching anything. It is really a pretty stretch of river thumb

was out there again today but further up river in the shallows. We were there for about 2 hours and my friend caught 20 with 10 keepers. My self not so much. Its all about the color and the right choice of lure.

Well a buddy and I went out on Monday and fished the East side of the 2580 bridge and we did alright. I caught about 9 fish. (4 sandies, 2 cats, 2 large mouth and a nice crappie) and my buddy caught 4 or 5 sandies.
