I just was lookin to see if anyone had any updates or had had any success as of late? Also, I was just curious, but do ya'll walk in at Nolan River Park or farther up stream? Also, was curious to see if the Golden Alga was affecting you fishing. I found this report on the TPWD website last night.... March 24, 2010 Brazos River Basin (Lake Whitney Fish Kill)
Brazos River Basin (Lake Whitney) Late last week golden alga was confirmed as the cause of a fish kill in Lake Whitney. The kill is spotty throughout the lake but has mostly occurred on the northeast end of the lake from the State Park to White Bluff. Kills and Spills biologists are estimating the number of dead fish to be in the thousands with the bulk of the species being shad and sun fish.
I hope it doesn't spread...:(

Most of the fish caught this weekend were small males and spawned out females... It is almost over at the nolan.
Time to go Turkey Huntin!
