I don't know him but he sounds like a lot of fun to fish with.

Sam, I just got home from HB. Only caught five and nobody else was catching either except for two guys at the north west point right near the bridge. They caught their limit for sure, using minnows on slip bobbers, about 5 feet deep and 30 to 40 feet out. I guess I will try third bridge tomorrow. Did you fish last night?

3rd bridge was alright tonight, but nothing special. A few here, a few there.

I went by this bait house today as I was headed to the third bridge and it was closed at 7:10 pm. I don't like to jig from the bank (I jig straight down) and I didn't have any minnows so I threw a bomber for the white bass. Caught one about 1 lb. in size. Took me an hour of fishing to do it.

Well, I was replying to Chris' message above but it went to the bottom of the list. Anyhow, I was referring to the bait store in Scotland: It does not stay open late. Now........
which of you pros did I see out there at the third bridge at 7:30 PM?
Call me Jerry if you wish

My friend took a few days off from work and has been going in the morning and afternoon. He said the bite is really good in AM and stops at 7am using minnows and lot much luck in the afternoon. I need to figure out how to fish in the morning without getting fired. Looks like another front coming in.... Oh boy!

I was told by the man in the store that if the store was open they could get you minnows from the bait shop. That is just what I was told though. I was not sure what time they closed either store though. I hope y'all are catching good ones......

I had to work overtime today so didn't get to fish. I think I will get online and get my Okie fishing license and see how Waurika is doing. Well, next time I can get off on time. Is anybody trying any late night fishing at HB, third bridge, or State Park?

Sam, you are one persistent individual and so is your daughter. I don't give up either. I just keep trying.

What do you guys think about putting together a little tournament. I know some of the local bass guys have a Wednesday night bass tournament out at Arrowhead. We could set it up any way we want, buy location, time, what ever. It would give us another reason to go fishing. Small entry fee $5-$10. Anyone interested?
