We made it out to fish Lewisville Friday afternoon. We left out of 121 and had to pick up a buddy at Sneaky Petes - got through the cut and knew it would be a wet day due to the strong winds and huge swells. But our determination did not falter. After about 45 minutes of looking for a bite, we found the fish near the damn in 40-45 ft of water via the huge flock of gulls. We had to use the big motor to hold our position. Caught numberous large sandbass and one undersized hybrid. Ed caught the biggest fat sandy I have ever seen - went 2 lbs 5 oz on my scale (and I know the difference between the hybrid and white bass). Heck of a time to be out of film in the camera! All fish caught on TNT limit gitters dropped to the bottom and SLOWLY reeled up through the fish.

Mark did you do any good this morning??? Went from about 7:30 till 9:30, NADA marked alot no takers, no birds either....

We didn't get out till 2:00 or so. I posted another full post on it today. I was getting concerned till just before dark. I caught two magnum sandies and a 3.5 to 4 lb LMB as a bonus.
Made the day as I was not ready to swallow the hugh SKUNK!
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
