Took two customers out for some shallow water jigging and we hammered them petty good. Kept 50 and threw back 20 or so small fish and we lost/missed many more.
Same pattern, grass/weeds around button willows in 1-2' water.
black/chart Rocky Top jigs did the trick. If you've never tried one, I caught a 35 or so yesterday and another 25 today on the same jig before they finally chewed it up.

ya i was given a few from Pezz here on this site, and i like them!!! gunna order me some more tomorrow!! caught quite a few with mine!!! and they are pretty cheap!!

Yes sir Jerry I have to say you are right on with the pattern described. Thanks to you my son and I enjoyed Easter together feeling that thump. We ended up with 42 and all were males. It's guys like you that I can't say enough good things about. Thanks again for the great info.

I try to give as much info as I can without giving my exact spots away. Word travels fast enough. The spot I fished yesterday was covered up today and we had to work hard for 30 keepers this afternoon.
Wind makes it hard to move around right now and those protected areas get found pretty quick
