Seagate: No I dont remove the screws....
They are used to hold the stick in place until the concrete sets. It takes a good 24 hours....

Tip: I use 1 part portland cement to 7 parts sand... You dont need a strong mix... just enough to hold the sticks in place until you get em in the lake.... And mostly weight....
