On the water at 7:30 with my dad and a fried from work. My friend from work is a crapie fisherman and has not fished for whites very much. He went home with 60 whites. These were the biggest whites i have ever seen on Benbrook. Birds worked on and off all day. We left at 1:00 because the wind got up a bit and my trolling motor batery went dead. We left them bitting. We also caught about 6 or so keeper hybrids as well as getting my line broke twice. I know fish look bigger in the water and in a fishing story you can fudge a bit but i got one of the fish that broke my line right up to the boat and the fish was definitely bigger than the two 8lb. ers that i caught back in the fall. I had to set my pole down and cry a bit after that. Oh well, i was going to throw him back anyway. All fish caught on Litle River Minow slabs in yellow and gold in 28 - 33 ft of water. Not all fish were caught right on the bottom. At times you had to come off the bottom a few feet to get them to hit.

My friend that was with me also corected me on the numbers. We kept 60 whites and caught 6 keeper hybrids. All hybrids were released.
