Basically, to sum up the reports I've got on the Perd. is that they are not running and pretty hard to find and catch, except for that one on the shad lures. Im just posting this so if anybody has a report on the start of the run on the Perd., especially in Reimers Ranch area, they can post it here, also feel free to post your predictions on this years white season.

Probably a little early on the Pedernales above the Hwy 71 bridge. Water level is low. It's hard to get up there by boat while it's this low and dropping daily. Blindmelon and I will probably stick to the Llano River run this year. Will report when we catch a mess.

Lake Travis near the perd has been bedy bedy gut to me this (so called) winter.

Gotta take advantage of every opportunity to fish with this record drought.

You never know when you will be left high and dry with no ramps to lauch from.

This is from Friday eve...winds were whipping but then so were the whites....
Fished from 7-midnight -- left them biting.

Can you say MAGNUUUMMM!

DonTheAngler has an open invitation. We are hoping for a rain out tomorrow. Can you say Barrett-Jackson?

Hey Ram,
I cleaned 65 this morning! I have been amazed at the size of these fish. By the way we are not fishing the river any more. Sandy creek ironically is full of magnums!

Rambler,

Are we talking about the same Sandy Creek I know about on Travis? Not to sure the area of the creek you are talking about. I know there is a park there where the creek comes into the lake right? Just wondering if the area would be good for my kayak, or if I'd need a boat to find the fish you caught. 65 big whites, awesome. Any information appreciated.

Rambler,

I think I know where....you have mail.
Those Travis magnums are so big....sometimes you can't help but crack up in amazement. Almost unrecognizable as whites huh?

65 whites!!! Thats amazing, but I think my 12 ft. Jon would get torn up out there, haha scared . I've still heard of nothing on the Perd. but have heard good things about the Leon River that feeds Lake Belton.
