Is the Champion Extreme worth the extra money. How much is sensitivity increased?

I have just the Champions Series myself but have fished with and handled the Extremes and I would for sure say they have a little more luxuries to them for the extra money, Personally I fished with the DX744 and it was out of this world. As soon as i rake me some more money that that will be my next rod i buy.
I currently have 5 other Champions and love each one for their own purpose. I guess to answer your questions YES but the Champs are pretty dern sweet in their own world.

Yes it is worth the money. I have a few champions and after reading some posts about the extreme lineup I bought the Dx784 mike long jig rod and was absolutely blown away by the sensitivity. The amazing thing about the rod was the tip and for such a long rod it was really light and balanced. I now own a few more extremes. If you have any questions just send me a text and ill be glad to answer any questions you have about them.

Next time you're at Fork, go by and see Ernie at LFT in Emory. They just got a new shipment, and have all 3 lines; Savvy, Champion, and Extreme.
I really like them all, and have even parked a few of my Loomis rods. Besides, a $60 no questions asked, immediate replacement is hard to beat.
Maybe Stan can provide you with better details, but the step between rods is excellent. If I go up or down a step in the rod's action or length, I know exactly what to expect.

I have 8 Dobyns rods and I would definately recommend the extreme series for your feel baits, jigs, worms and such.
