now try a soft rest, turn off the unit. the hold and press down the pwr key and page key at the same time. once the unit comes on let go of the pwr key, but keep holding down the page key. until you see U.S. map or load beep. Lets see if that fixs your mapping problem.

i am not advising this, only as a last resort.. I had my old lcx16 do the upside down map thing... I would fix it by whacking it hard with my hand on the backside...

like I said... last resort.

Thanks Jason, you know I like to give you a hard time! smile Still wanting to come up there and go do some smallmouth fishing!

Hey Jason,

My 332c head unit is dead. And I'm pretty sure I'm not going to send it to have it fixed. Is there a way to find out all of the head units that are compatible with my connections? Just in case one pops up in the classifieds?

Thanks.

the 2d transducer is the same, net work cords are different, but you can buy net work adaptors to go blue to red net work. power cord yes and no, all depends how you hook it up and depending on your boat. (yellow wire on the new hds units)

Jason, I have an lcx 27c and a couple of the pins in the transducer connector have come loose because the guide broke and it was hard to line up to connect. (Friend helping me out) Is there some place I can get a pig tail to repair the cable instead of having to tear every thing out of the boat to replace the transducer? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

They do make a extension. Maybe u can use that. Just plug the bad in once and the good end to ur graph. Where u can line up everytime. Go to lei-extras. If not probably best thing is to replace it.
