Were the transducer is located I bet traps water and air bubbles. I would have mounted the transducer on either side were the drain plug is.

What are those two fittings to the port and starboard of the LSS1 transducer?

If those are the livewell drains as I suspect then that is most likely your problem....those drains are injecting bubbles into the water right up against the ducer and causing the fuzzy image. Even if your livewells are empty air bubbles will be coming out of those holes as the boat rocks from side to side.

Those are the livewell drains...I will try and fill the livewell and see the not having the bubbles from and empty livewell helps. I didn't think of that. I will also do the right/left switch, that was going to be my next question! I may just go back to Rockwall marine and have them correct all the problems....thanks guys. I am taking the boat out tomorrow so I will try and make the necessary corrections.
