Count me in this year! Hopefully will be bringing my buddy Jaymes (aka fisheads). I've been wanting to do this for a while. I've only been out to the lake once and only caught one...but it was a big one. Maybe some of the veterans will be be able to help me out and give me some good tips.
As for what to bring, iooks like you still need someone to bring plasticware. Put me down for that. And probably some tartar sauce too.

Welcome elbandito and fisheads.  Elbandito...there won't be a problem as a bunch of us have fished the lake and we can assist with info also. It is a full moon weekend so they should be on beds.  WacoKid will be bringing some crickets that he sells every year. If you want any, contact him.

Well, this is what I know so far: We are approx. 6 wks. away and counting down! We have lost Al Baystealth, MidlothianJoe and Bill (Hookem) Carr. Sorry guys...you will be missed.
Looks like about 30 people have signed in so far. The list is as follows:
1. Jon - Potato Salad
2. Curvy - Fryer, banana pudding
3. WetDuck - Beans, fillets, fryer
4. BreamBuster - Party paks, ice, towels, plates
5. TreeBass -
6. LittleRobby -
7. TeamHillbilly - Beef, sweet potaoes, onions
8. Worth -
9. WacoKid - crickets, dessert
10. Fisherwood - Bread
11. Me - Corn meal, hushpuppy mix
If anyone wishes to make any additions or changes to this list, feel free to do so.
The lake is up, the fish are there, it's Springtime then so let's all meet up and enjoy!! Ooops, sorry - Guys & Gals - figured this might happen, but I just heard from one of my doctor's and he has scheduled me for an appt. on April 30th to check out a raised area on the back of my head where my neck begins. Hope it's nothing and praying it goes well w/o a hitch, but again, I will not make it to the Get-together. However, if someone will give me their shipping address, I'll be more than to ship the party-packs, paper towels/napkins and plates, naturally way more than needed. It's the least I can do for the Get-together

Unfortunately I won't be able to go this year  That is right smack before final exams. On a bittersweet note, I landed a reeeeally awesome gig doing undergrad research in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute here at Texas Tech, so I'm stuck out here in dry Lubbock boatless, but I will get to herp/hunt/do lab work a lot! Have fun guys, wish I could come and shoot the breeze with you and Waco, it's been forever!

Hey Mason step out the side door of the TTMC and see if you can chase down one of the big jack rabbits. They taste real good when BBQ. Ask around and see if you can get a ride to Allen Henry it is an awsome lake.

I have school that friday, I will probably be late. I will do my best to catch some bluegill though, is anyone going to be fishing in the night? That'd be fun..
