Finally got around to fishing the ATC this year and had a really good time doing so. I look a little banged up from a accident the previous weekend, so don't mind the mug. Enjoyed meeting some new folks, including my team partner Brid, quite the character and a solid fisherman.

A huge thanks to Eddie, and Tres Flores baits. It was really nice to meet your family. This was my first time putting in a solid effort fishing their baits, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Most fish came on known Town staples of Tutti Frutti & Pineapple boilies, maize, or a combination. I had 8 commons (including my first mirror), a buff, and a grasser day one. Day two was another story, as the fishing was tough all over.

Two more nice fish from the mix, I think 25-00 and 25-04 or 27-04 (Can't remember who caught what.)





And just for kicks, that Grasser, 30 and some change. If only it had been a common!



Gave the rods a short rest then fished Tues. and Wed evening.

Tues. produced another Buff (22-03), a 28 & 21 common.
Wed. I managed 7 fish from 17 to 28, including my first triple run. That was quite the task as I was fishing solo.
I was fortunate to have a bystander come by and handle the net, but the third fish ended up in a snag. I took a swim, rod in hand, downstream, and continued to free the fish, only to have it run into another snag further down. This went on and on, till I was a good ways downstream, with a total stranger looking after my gear back at the swim. Landed the fish in a bear hug in chest deep water and made the awkward haul back to the mat & scales. In all the hassle, I was more concerned about returning the fish safely back in the water, than getting some shots, so no pics of the three on the mat unfortunately, but all three made a spirited return back to the water.
Doesn't happen very often, but I'm ready for a short break from fishing.

Yeah if you have one of the other side I will know for sure but I think that's one I had on the float about a year and a half ago at 13lbs
