I got out of school today at 3:00 and decided to hit the water, despite the wind. It paid off right before dark when I caught this big bass





All fish were caught on a Yozuri Pin Minnow with purple back on my ultralight spinning outfit. That big bass was a blast on the lightweight tackle. She jumped clear out of the water twice, and I thought I was going to lose her. Earlier in the day I caught a small bass and probably around 8 sunfish. Here are a couple pics of the small bass and one longear sunfish.

Nice. What creek? How was the wind bad?

I've used that same hard bait and it's worked well.

Pretty fish. Hey, Chuckwagon, I've fished out of the same alum. boat since I was a child - forty years out of the same boat - and I am planning to get a 'yak soon. I think having both is the way to go. Aluminum boats can get hot!
