I've used that same hard bait and it's worked well.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.
Shane-- Thanks for the awesome trip last summer, and the compliments on my fish. I advise anyone wanting to learn about fishing out of a kayak to contact Shane(Yak n Yota) for a guided fishing trip. You will have a blast.
HOT Kayaks-- Thanks for the great deal on my new kayak. I love my Native Manta Ray 11. Heart of Texas Kayaks is a great company to do business with and Colleen answered all of my questions about the new yak. They gave me a great deal on the closeout 2009 manta ray 11 and a great deal on the accessories. I think the new yak is getting broke in pretty good.

Pretty fish. Hey, Chuckwagon, I've fished out of the same alum. boat since I was a child - forty years out of the same boat - and I am planning to get a 'yak soon. I think having both is the way to go. Aluminum boats can get hot!
