That lake has produced approx 245 SALS. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I would vote for that in a heartbeat. At least make the lower end 18.
Character is who you are when nobody else is around.

The slot has nothing to do with the size fish were catching,it's the guys putting the fish back in the lake. The tournament fisherman would pump alot more money in to that lake if the slot was gone.

There are plenty of tournaments out there as it is. Past that I would take the lower end being 18" though I have no complaints the way it is.

The tournament fisherman would pump alot more money in to that lake if the slot was gone. How could there possibly be anymore tournaments on the lake as it is? With the exception of a few weekends in the winter this place gets hammered with everything from working man weekday tournaments to the Big Bass Splash.

I would just like to see the weights in the tourny's with no slot.I never keep bass when I catch them, always release plenty of crappie to eat.But I think we should pat ourselves on the back for releasing these fish to grow it's not the slot that's making the differance. It's the fisherman that practice catch and release and take care of there fish.

With the advent of catch and release I would raise the question, is a slot limit an antiquated idea? Very few people, if any, keep bass anymore that I see. Remove the slot on all lakes in Texas and then let TPWD do their surveys in a year and see if it had any effect at all. Sure does not seem to be bothering Falcon to have a 14 inch limit. Just my opinion.
