 Who is the best with a drop shot?

I have been fishing the drop shot for about 3 years now with mixed results. I've caught a lot of fish off of it but just do not have alot of confidence in it. So the question is who is the best guide on Fork with the drop shot? I would like to book a trip for early June and wanted to know if you guys had any suggestions.

I hired Tom Redington to specifically learn this technique. I fish it with confidence now. So I guess he would be my pick.

Just jump in the mo-sin reinke.... I caught that 10-4 and numerous 23+ " fish last yr on dropshots. I had one that was HUGE get all the way to the boat and as I was lipping it the hook broke. It was one of those owner dropshot hooks with the v bend.
Heck I think you taught me how to dropshot!!!

mo-sin you hit on my problem. I have showed atleast 5 people the drop shot and they are all doing better than me on it. I fish it in good areas just don't get the bite that I'm looking for.

Your choice of equipment(rod&reel) can make a world of difference in catch or not catch.. I've used the D/S a few times over the last few years.
The set-up, as in type of hook, main line, leader material, leader length, and weight all come into play for a successful dropshot rig.
It mainly catches dinks anyway.. LOL

Billy's right, it mainly catches dinks anyway.

It catches big fish too and is a great tool to have in your arsenal! Ive been a hardcore dropshotter for about 4 years...caught fish between 5 and 9

I think you need to shoot Billy, well, most likely, Kay Dyson a PM and see what she might be able to help you with.
Trust me on that one - search Media Bass tourney results and you'll figure it out pretty quick.
Drop-shot dyson is the one who got me interested in it.

I've seen Kay and Billy work the drop shot before. They took 1st partner and I finished 7th. Seen them on alot of the same spots I fish which brings me back to I need help with the drop shot.
