I lost the same set up on lake hubbard in 1996 in a bad hail storm maybe it made it's way there. That was such a bad day that wasn't even the worst loss that day 2 curodos 1 calcuta and 3 castaways along with loosing a whole tackle bag that was full and sank almost immediatly. This is a fun topic. I once was at Procter and had caught nada all day. Got real excited when something heavy hit my crankbait not much fight but it was a fish. A DEAD FILLETED CRAPPIE BODY WITH THE SKIN STILL ON LAID BACK! I had hooked this dead thing in the mouth somehow. It was time to go home after that!

Caught a duck at lake granbury, have caught more than one rock, but weirdest has to be a snake at Cedar Creek! Tried to pop my jig free with the end of the rod tip but the snake curled around the rod...

Fishing the state championship on Livingston one year, my boater started messing with a three foot alligator on the bank with his spinner bait. After the genious finally managed to hook the aligator, I just looked at him and said "want me to get the net?"

That boy wasn't right in the head. And he complained after he lost his "favorite" spinner bait. Go figure!

This weekend I pulled in a Yo Gabba Gabba kids kite. It was the yellow robot in case you are wondering. I literally was laughing all day about it.

I hooked several ducks and water turkeys. But the best one is my dad and my uncle took one of my cousin's boyfriends out fishing and he hooked the only girl duck in a group of mallards. While he was reeling her in all of the mallards were taking turns on her.

Night fishing a muskrat, he was PO'd at me for some reason. I went fly fishing on the San Juan, laying out a bug and there were hundreds of green swallows on the water, and one pick up my fly and flew straight up. That really sucked worse than the muskrat.
