What outfitter, if any, did you use? I'd like to book a trip like that this summer. I used Chandeleur Guide Fishing, Inc. They are the only charter that has a permanent house boat/barge at the island. Captain Mark was great and an AMAZING cook. Check out there website: http://chandeleurguidefishing.com/index.html

Looks like a good trip. I have gone eight times with Due South Charters out of Biloxi. We have had some great years but the last two were very poor. The Islands have changed drastically since Katrina, not as much structure and grass. Atleast where we fish, south of North Island. Where is the Pelican located in the Islands?
