Still pretty muddy at Youngsport about 5:00, fishable, but past the 'just a little stained' point.

Tomorrow it should be fine. I've actually done alot better when the water is just a little off color than when its clear.

Good luck!

Bill

saw a couple yaks that caught some from shore, we caught one. Saw one or two others catch the same.

Water is moving pretty fast, and still very stained

WELL UNFORTUNATELY I WONT HAVE A CHANCE TO FISH AFTER THIS WEEKEND. I AM MOVING TO CALIFORNIA TO FORT IRWIN THANKS TO THE ARMY. I HAVE DONE A LITTLE RESEARCH ON FISHING SOME NICE STRIPED BASS AND RAINBOWS ON THE COLORADO RIVER FROM THE LOOKS OF IT. SO I SHOULD GET SOME TIME FISHING FROM MY KAYAK THERE.

If not for retrieving that poor fella's Truck, Boat and Trailer out of the water they would have never known about those stolen cars in the water .. something like 8 cars or so! No wonder the crappie bite was always good near the ramp!

Hey there,

Hey all need a little assistance if at all possible. I havent been fishing for sometime thanks to military obligations and when I used to go on lampasas with a buddy we never got much because we'd just find a bridge and go down to the river and just wade down the river casting out. I keep reading about the gravel crossing and youngsport and all these places on here. I have no idea where they are at. Im looking for a little knowledge and possible directions to a good place where i can do some bank/wading fishing (by wading i mean getting into the river and walking down it and casting out). Its short notice but im heading out tommorrow at 5 am so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Josh
