For all of you that were on the lake this weekend, are there any bed fish that you were able to see, fish, catch?

I drove xcross the lake on 154, 515 West and all the creeks on 17 headed south to Alba. That lake looked like chocolate milk from above! Oh, and there were four gates open at 2PM on Saturday afternoon. Three releasing pretty good and one just cracked open.

Tons! All the fish we weighed Saturday came off beds. Even more slot fish on beds.

Okay we did not pull any off of any beds on Saturday, but my husband and I had one of the best bass fishing days ever on Fork. We caught a lot of nice fish anywhere from 3.5 lb - 8.5 lbs, they were like sand bass schooling. The wind was tough but it was well worth it. We even caught a double one was 8.5 the other was 6.5, WOW it was awesome. I will try to post some pics tonight. I just wish we could be fishing right now...

We fished coves below the 154 bridge and had good luck in 4-6 ft catching the prespawners. Water got to about 58 degrees at the back of those coves and the water was clear enough there to see some beds, but no fish on them. This week should turn them on, but will definitely be hard to see them north of the 515.

I wouldn't say there are TONS of bedding fish. There are some in a few places, but that would not be my personal definition of "tons". There are not bedding fish EVERYWHERE yet.

Well, you know Sinkey always exagerates in both quantity and quality of fish seen or caught......or was that seen caught?
