That's what you get for wearing jorts to pick them up.

Has anyone wondered what goes through one's mind when a fish that big comes to the surface? It must be a flood of emotions...instant adrenaline rush, FEAR OF LOSING HER, extreme excitement, proud that all of your hard work and time on the water finally paid off, FEAR OF LOSING HER (did I mention that already) and once she's in the livewell (after you looked in there to confirm that it really happened), one might think to themself..."who on this lake wears the same size pants as I do because I just made a horrible mess in mine and I still need to take some pictures at the ramp!" CONGRATULATIONS on a fish of a lifetime!!!

Thank you for catching that beautiful fish and letting me be a part of your glorious day. I couldn't think of a nicer guy who has dedicated himself to this sport and deserves it more. I am using that picture as my desktop background grin and I am reminding myself every time I see it that I'm just one cast away from getting one of my own.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.
