Has anyone ever had any luck with sandies on the Nolan north of Lake Pat Cleburne? I figured someone could walk down to it at the HWY. 4 Bridge, or at that CR bridge closer to the lake but I wasn't sure how good it would be?

Can access it from the north side of US67 from the soccer fields/park on the river. Dont know of any non private access above that. HWY 4 is a good clip upstream. Could possibly float down in a canoe. Cant get a bassboat above the first county road bridge you come to.(1st bridge above 67)

On Saturday, the sand bass were at least 3/4 of a mile above the bridge. The only way you are getting there is a kayak or canoe and there will be quite a bit of dragging. I would like to know if you can float down from highway 4. There used to be fences across in several places.
