ive caught plenty of bass on them. they are great swimbaits. they work best in grassy waters.

1) Dancin eel and I still for the life of me, don't know why that thing never caught any fish for me. Not even a bite.
2) Rage Tail Shads suck but I love the frogs and such.
3) So far, I have not caught a thing on my $16 Strike King Swimming Shad. I have however caught fish on the Academy jointed swim baits.
4) That Booyah extra long spinner bait that Bill Dance was pushing for awhile. Not only was it goofy just to throw but I never caught a thing on it.

a crawfish bait that was promoted by Bill Dance back in the 80's. Looked real good. looked just like a real crawfish....everytime I caught a fish on it, the hook came out of the bait. bought a package of 6 of them for I think $9.95!!

If you still have it I will take it, I remember my uncle catching an 8 pounder on Rayburn one morning on that bait...........

maybe its just me but i wore em out w a banjo minnow years ago.

Years ago i bought this kit(not sure of the name) but it came with weights for rigging t-rigs and c-rigs and when the weights got wet they would make a clicking sound(i guess to imitate a baitfish or crawfish) I swear i would be catching fish all day with my normal soundless weights and would switch to one of those and they would do nothing but scare all of the fish away. I did finally catch one bass on the t-rig but i believe he was deaf? LOL.

Nothing but a waist of money.

Rick Clunn ETI Orion crankbait. Threw it out, started reeling and it immediately headed to the left and flipped over when I sped up my retrieve. Tuned it, but only stayed true for a few minutes. Took another out of the package, cast it, and this one swam to the right!
Other bait I hate is Gulp. Smells bad and dried up quickly, making it un fishable. I love the Powerbait line, but hate GULP.
Recently bought a jointed Strike Pro crankbait. This thing is pretty heavy but can't cast worth a dime. Poor aerodynamics and no thought put into a weighting system to make it cast better. This one is best saved for trolling, but I don't have a boat. Grrr!!

Those long buzz baits Bill Dance shows on the T.V. at BPS. Some big jig you could make float, suspend or sink, all I remember it had a huge plastic trailer. Not a lure, but one of those rods where the line goes inside the rod instead of the eyes, snapped it on a cable.
