im a die hard bass fisherman but have a wife that loves fried crappie and wonders why i ever fish for anything else. we will be bass fishing next week and staying around white oak. i will be crappie fishing a creek at night thats about 8 feet deep from a dock. any idea how this fishing might be? we'll be drowning minnows.

should i fish out in the middle or up on the bank? deep or shallow ith my minnow? we'll try it all to see what works but if there is a tip to help me figure em out quicker it would be great.

What is the water temp at fork right now?

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I havent been there in a couple of weeks, but can tell you there where some females shallow then and should be better now after the warm days we have been having.

I sure would'nt miss a chance to throw a slip cork in 2' or so of water. I prefer a jig under it but minnows will work.
