My friend just bought a '94 Pantera with a 200 Merc EFI. It had a 4- blade prop on it the day that he tried to run it. Everything was fine when he first took off until he trimmed up the motor and an ungodly amount of water came over the transom and onto the back deck. Every time he tries to trim up at full throttle the same thing happens. It's not just a little water either. It's like standing on the bridge at Splashwater Falls at Sixflags. Enough to sink the boat if he didn't trim back down. What in the world could cause that? Thanks for the pro insight.

Jackplate may be mounted too low. As the nose comes up the jackplate goes down into the water. Maybe---Smitty

He took the 4- blade prop off and put on a 3- blade Tempest. The old prop was corroded really bad on the inside of the hub. It looked like the previous owner had been in saltwater. Could the corrosion keep the water from flowing through the prop correctly? I appreciate any replies.
