Anyone fish Athens this weekend? How did you do and what are the water conditions. First day monday in a long time without work and dont want to drive all the way to East Texas and go to the wrong lake. Considered Fork, Holbrook, Athens and Hawkins. Anyone? What a rare instance: Im off and monday is suppose to be windless. Thanks, 361V

There was a tournament of some sort last weekend on Athens. There must have been a ton of fish caught...or none. Which was it?

Open to anything in that general area. One day in long time to fish. Want to get it right. Long way from Glen Rose. Lake "X"?

Me and my son were on Athens on March 18th. Found 64 degree water and found quite a few fish on the beds in this one cove. Caught 7. Water was clear, could see down about 4-5 feet!!! Was a good day...

Fished Athens yesterday, the warmest water was 57. Lake looked great but nothing was biting. Talked to several other guys and no one was catching any fish.

I caught 2 on Friday on flukes way back in the back of the back of coves on a bass assassin. They were not big fish, but I had a time working them out of the vegetation and to the boat. I saw several other 1-2 lb bass working around the shallows. Water temps were 55-57.

Good luck tomorrow.

I found some water that was 64 degrees yesterday. We boated about 15 fish the biggest was a little over 4 lbs. IT should be getting really good there by the end of this coming week.

Fished Athens yesterday and had 11 by 1 o'clock when I left. A buddy of mine fished some of the say areas and had about the same when I last seen him at noon. No beds in the area I fished. Not a big day but I got to knock the rust off.
