Why are trees not listed? They are probably one of the most caught species. I'm sure I would be well north of forty if they were.

For that matter, what about fellow anglers? Or innocent passersby who snuck up behind you on your backcast?

For that matter, what about fellow anglers? Or innocent passersby who snuck up behind you on your backcast? Last year at Fly Fish Texas, I saw this kid absolutely flailing a fly rod back and forth. His fly was not going forward as he intended. Every time he would bring the rod forward his dad would scream. This went on for several cast/scream cycles before dad convinced him to stop. The poor kid had to help pluck the fly from the back of dad's head. I'm sure it hurt like heck, but from a distance it was just too funny.

What about crappie, rio grande perch, speckled trout, and Guadalupe Bass? Oh, and Tarpon. First, you're missing hundreds of species, so a handful won't take care of it. Second, you can't count tarpon if you're the guy that would rather catch a smallie, see, smallies are awesome, but preferring them over tarpon automatically disqualifies your tarpon catch.

yea, I missed a bunch of fish, I excluded salty fishes on purpose (red drum are available in some Texas lakes)because there sure ain't enough room, I tried for some common freshwater species but since I am a crappie hater I didnt include them, I already acknowledged missing Rio's & Guadeloupe's (tip: read thread from the beginning instead of the end)

yea I know, I am just letting everyone know I realized the list was incomplete when I made it...imagine how big it would be if everything possible was listed ? on another note : who's in the 2010 multispecies contest this year ? Ccabel ? DrakkinYak? LHD? all previous winners, who else ? It don't pay well but its a fun contest & edumactional too. enter here ---> http://txfishes.com/
