Top water lure called a Jerkin Sam. Found it at that bait shop on 30 near Ray Hubbard. My friend and I were laughin so hard at the name we were crying. Had to buy it. Dont know where it went but it was worth the 5 bucks just for the laugh.

Most lure are designed to catch fisherman NOT fish.

Yep bought 4 of em. Took the hooks offand gave them to my son to play with in the tub.

years back i bought tha lure with tha pull cord as stated above and tha dancin eel. I think tha manufactures caught us hook line and sinker. those lures catch fishermen not fish LOL!!!

When I first got into fishing...I went into Bass Pro and bought a couple of Top Knockers....man I thought they looked good!

Never caught a fish on one....they are in my wifes cute lure collection...her little box of cuties!

gosh darn helicopter and yes i admit i was suckered by that $&$%$# r_l_nd M_r_i_. In my defense i was twelve but i still should have known better...LOL

I'm always hearing people knocking the helicopter lure. I'm 30 now but when I was about 13 or 14 I received the kit for Christmas. We were camping at Eufaula lake here in Oklahoma one spring and my dad, (who's idea of fishing is a cane pole and minnows, says bass fishing is too much work) Tied a pink helicopter lure on and on the 3 or 4th cast had the biggest fish I had even seen in my life come 3 feet out of the water for that bait. He had it on for a good minute or so then the fish came off. The plastic was so hard could not get the hook to go through. Still to this day when I hear people bashing Roland "Son that's a six pounder" Martin and the Helicopter lure, I laugh because I saw on the biggest bass in my life "fly" out of the water after that thing!!!

But yes the Helicopter Lure caught a lot more fisherman than it ever did fish!!!

the billy bass lure is one of the better tank baits i've ever used.

i didn't buy it, but my grandparent's tackle box had a bass chasing a fly lure that caught them.

Thank God I wasn't the only one! Did catch a bass on it on a farm pond...but then again..could have caugt bass on a shoe string in that farm pond!

Got FIVE different colors of em! That way when you get sick of not catching any fish with one color, you can change it up and not catch any fish with a different color!

Okay, several years ago I bought two spinnerbaits that held a watch battery and the heads would light up. One Red, and one green. Thought, these will be great at night!

All that light was good for was to see what you were hung up on in the dark.

Heck, it is a wonder I catch any fish at all!
