Was at the dam this morning for an hour from 8am-9am and it was slow.Only saw a couple sandbass caught. 4 gates are open.

A lot of crappie at gate #1 if you use live minow with 1 ounce weight bottom fishing, the closer to the gate the faster it bite. Only one drawback those is the space is very unlimited.

It was pretty slow this afternoon. Saw a few hybrids caught early in the afternoon but they shut down after 4:30pm.

I've never fished the dam before but I think I might try this weekend. I want to go somewhere besides the creek lol
A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!!!
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

Fishing for me today was a bit tough at the dam. Some of you may have seen me floating downstream in my float tube (first time ever) and I apologize if I messed up your lines/fishing. Luckily I was able to get to the bank and started all over then caught this keeper (crappie) with the first cast under the railroad tressel.

Sandies: 266

Crappie: 56
Hybrids: 1
Striper: 1
Other: 388

No. It was a new one I bought from Bass Pro. A open front Yellow one. Not sure of the name.

Ya that Ski tube mexican guy was funny...Should have seen it for yourself to really appreciate the humor in it. As he approached us his 1st words were..Dhis is mi first tine donin dhis...Almost fell out of the boat i was laughing so hard.
