How do you not catch anything on Senkos? I still don't know what is so appealing about those things, but that is my "go-to" bait. How are you rigging it? Mine is spinner baits and crank baits. The only fish I've ever caught on a crank is a channel cat. What am I doing wrong?

i bought the orginal $29.00 castaic 10" trout to fish in mexico about 20 years ago. didnt get a bite and it was like throwing a wet tennis shoe. then i went back researched and discovered all the fishing reports i was reading on how great it was were from california...


those mexican fish were eating tialpia and they look nothing like a rainbow trout.

then i felt ...well you know... mentally challenged.

Dances eel. Years ago when they first came out with them my cousin and I went to the store and both got one. I think we both watched Bill Dance that Sat morning wearing them out. We both went and got one each, fished them all day long and never caught a fish. I never fished it again after that.

Same here I cannot catch a fish on a chatterbait anywhere ive gone. Ive tried it quite a few times but have yet to get 1bite.

I've caught fish off the flying lure, and the helicopter lure.(when I was 11 in 1992 or so)

I guess worst would be some amature poured soft plastics at a small bait shop. The quality was just whack. I never bought anymore from that guy... so, I guess that's the worst.

The first time I ever fished a chatterbait, was during a media individual tourney on Palestine in January. I wasn't catching anything, so I decided to try it. about 6 throws and BAM, 4.5 pounder.

Hey Man, didnt say I couldnt catch fish on them, just said over priced and a "angler do nothing lure" Rig it throw it and wait for fish to enhale. Not much skill involved. I then made a joke that I have a bunch and feel guilty when i resort to fishing with them because they definately do catch fish. Take care man!

Tripping on the senko? They're pricy. Go buy some stick-o's or zoom magnum finesse worms.

and add the Bill Dance Pork-O to the list. Swam them right in front of their noses on Squaw Creek and nothing. Threw a plastic lizard behind it and they would hit every time.

I fell for the stupid banjo minnow ad and bought 2 packs and I didnt want it but the person sent the big fish kit...

one of those banjos is 14 friggin inches long!

I caught one (1) fish in 4 years and it was on the first cast.

I remember catching a ton of fish on the flying lure:). All pond bass and some big ones. Of course I would never tie one on in a lake. I once bought a crankbait that wasclear and you put a little neon light stick in it. I was always afraid to throw it when I was a kid, it was too cool to lose Haha

banjo minnows

Does anyone remeber the Sputterbuzz? Just a chugger with a big buzzbait blade attached to the front. I can't remember how I got it, but I know i never did catch a fish on it. It's actually still in my topwater box in the boat. lol
