how do you get in on that deal. is it only certian people. A large charity sponsorship deal. This will be in boat. I am being told that they are fixing up the facility and getting it ready to go. It should not be much longer. There is a bend in a creek with a deep drop off that has my name written all over it.

I don't have a problem paying a $5 fee to fish SC and to keep the place cleaned up.

My dad is an engineer for the plant. That Saturday he was allowed to bring immediate family members to help clean in the morning and fish in the afternoon

There is a video on the company website showing the prep. (See eye on luminant) http://www.luminant.com/ It's funny I work for Luminant and I can't watch the videos right now because they run off youtube which is blocked.

Yea, $5.00 a pop seems totally fair, to pay for clean up and upkeep. I cant wait to finally get to fish it. I hope everyone is like me and strives to keep it pristine and a fine place to make memories for years to come.

Never lick a gift horse in the mouth, but...Ya think the re-opening of Squaw Creek has anything to do with Luminant wanting to add 2 more reactors to the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Facility?

Hey I was wondering, since there are so many people who know a lot about Squaw Creek here, maybe someone can help me. Years and years ago when the lake was open to the public, my dad let them display a big bass he had mounted. My father has since passed and I was interested in possibly contacting someone to see about returning the mounted fish. Anyone have any idea where I need to go or who I would talk to about tracking that down??

Yeah WWWin you said you were fishing a charity deal HOW did you come about getting to fish it and what Charity deal is it? I was told by a guy lol. That it will be opening soon but only like 100 boats a day. And it was going to be more like 20.00 per person. With like in by 7 out by 5. This guy is a little more informed than most though so I really think he knows what he speaks of. But maybe not lol.
