I haven't heard this term before I moved to the Waco area and found the TFF. I am pretty sure I saw one this weekend a little closer than I wanted to! Nice boats. Do they win something for this and is there any particular course that they run? Is there any schedule posted for these events? I would like to know so that I can either be prepared to watch or avoid entirely. Probably the latter. I would a lot rather fish!

Basically it is a course that is set up ahead of time. For example five marinas scattered around the lake. You get a card at each point. At the end, you have a 5 card hand. Who ever has the best hand wins.

Here is the website.. http://www.pokerrun.com I stay away from Lake Travis, when they have over 50 boats, going near 100MPH, trying to get up and down the lake in record time. To me in a small bass boat, I would rather be watching from the bank. I have to admit, it is a site to see, if you have never seen 30+foot boats crusing down the lake....at high speeds...
