I just got into this whole carp fishing thing and was wondering if anyone has had any experience carp fishing on lake Boerne. I'll be there this weekend. Thanks in advance.

Dude,

HERE IS THE STOCKING HISTORY

I would certainly assume that there are some CARP ion there, now as to size? well that's another story,,,,,try some Kernal corn, if you don't have a bait runner reel, be certain to leave the bail open and watch for the take,,,if you're not familiar with Carp Angling..do the following,,,set your line uip as follows....1 oz sliding sinker, glass bead, swivel, #4 or 6 hook,,,put the kernal corn ( right out of the can) on the hook, 2 or 3 kernals would be fine, leave a little part of the business end of the hood exposed...open the bail...OR get some Corn Flakes or Wheaties and some BIG red,,, wet the cereal with the big red and mash it till it forms a ball, put that on the hook, put the rod in a fork stick, open the bail, just wait and see what happens,,let us know..the lake should NOT be pressured, as motor boats are forbidden..

If there's a 50 out there,,,,,,it's MINE!!!

Tell me I'm a Cool Angler !!!!

I can think of one little spot that produced a ice 30+ for me, no record of carp there.

PB Common = 36-8
PB Buffalo = 62-8
PB Mirror (fully scaled) 13-0
PB Flat Head Catfish = 44
