Awesome fish! However it makes me crazy to see people not holding a fish that size correctly! Please support them with the other hand under there belly. This cannot be good for the fishes jaw.

Forget the gas tanks getting bigger in most boats! Just make the livewells bigger. That must be the best feeling in the world for that young man!

Those 2 that Mike Long are holding in the top right were pretty awesome. I think the one on the left is 14.2 and the other was 13.10. That's 2 SAL in one day if done back home. Not a bad day. The one John Kerr is holding in the bottom right I think came in a pre-fishing trip. 4 of these 7 fish to include Dottie came out of San Diego in lakes that are smaller than 1000 acres. But they all have trout. Just really hard to catch them now with so much pressure on such small water.

Texas is going to have to start stocking trout. As is stands now, California can no longer stock trout in many places and is in fact being sued for having done so to begin with. According to protection groups the trout(like zebra and quagga mussels) harm survival for native species of small aquatic life. I can understand not stocking the lakes and rivers of the Sierra Nevada's, but places like Lake Dixon and the other bass factories don't seem to have "native species."
