Just in hot off of the press lake alvarado's name has been changed to lake ugotthatcash!!! The lake has been made private to only peolpe who own big bass boats that have dirty south posse stickers on them. The city of Alvarado has done some studys that show this group of fisherman does not hurt the lake and by them fishing it they do not contribute to the fishing pressure on the lake. So if you do not fit this criteria please stay off of the lake you RIFT RAFT are simply killing these guys lake. P.S that also applys to the people who own lake lots stay off of these guys honey hole apparently someone forgot to tell these guys the lake is not but 437 acres so there for there will be a little pressure. Just my .02 worth. HAHAHa Classic Big Ern... I do want a sticker tho.

might be wrong but i heard that fish was floating and that guy picked it up.it was brought to the bait shop dead go figure.this is why we havent hurd to much about it.on other threads they said it was caught on the launch, but looking at the picture it was not.look at the truck no fishing equip,no poles and its a single cab truck so you know its not in the front seat.there is a lot of construction going on down there on homes, and his shirt is dirty.so a construction worker was down there working and saw this fish floating picked it up went to the bait store took pics.you cant get into the record books or sal program with a dead fish from shore.this is the word of people who live around the lake, who dont even fish so its not jelousy,it might be fact.

I dont know about this one. I was on the lake ALL DAY the day this fish was "caught" and never seen that guy on the water any. I'm not trying to say she wasn't caught, just scratching my head a little. Anyways, if she was caught by him, congrats. If not, it's cool that he came across her, as long as its not registered as the new lake record and SAL certified.

Ugotthatcash,
You just ain't right!!!!!!!!
Use a DD-22 on the north end of the lake for best results, but stay away from Guy's honey hole...
